We invite you for a week of blissful practices, come to this paradise by the sea and nourish your body, cultivate self love and allow yourself to heal. 

 

Sri Lanka is a green paradise with lush vegetation and beautiful beaches and we have found the perfect location to host this Yoga retreat -  an Eco Lodge with sustainable living! The simple but beautiful construction of the lodges uses local and environment friendly materials, self sufficient electricity with solar panel energy and home grown vegetables.

 

There are 5 hectares on the property so plenty of space for you wander around and breathe the peace and purity of this land. Take walks through the property, refresh and relax at the pool, head to the lagoon to kayak or SUP board or have an ayurvedic massage or treatment at the resort wellness center. The beach is also about 10 mn walking distance, or if you prefer you can ride on the property bicycles.

 

Our “neighbors” are abundant: shy monkeys, peacocks and other beautiful birds that nest next to your lodge, fireflies, butterflies and squirrels. 

 

The Yoga program 

 

This retreat was designed to have balanced practices of movement and inner work meditation practices.

Get into your body with a morning flow - Vinyasa and Hatha inspired - combined with meditation and pranayama practice to set the tone of your day. We will move on a dynamic sequence of postures but also take some time to align, to feel the body as a whole and connect to the energetic benefits.

 

Think about mindful movement, having fun in your body, to feel connected with your breath and energy as a whole. At the end of the day, unwind, relax and restore… Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra practices. Besides the physical practices we will also offer Reiki and Healing combined with the afternoon classes, creating everyday magical sessions. 

 

You will feel replenished, clear minded, rested and in pure awareness.

 

Besides the morning and afternoon classes we will offer 3 workshops during the retreat - Yoga Nidra, Restorative Yoga and Yin Yoga.

On each workshop we will dedicate two hours to explore and share with you some fundamentals of this beautiful practices, some theory combined with practice for you to deepen your understanding and dive deeper while on the mat.

 

Diet

Our local Sri Lankan chefs will prepare our meals with locally grown vegetables and other local products and fruits. With an Ayurvedic inspiration and lots of love.

We will serve a variation of Sri Lankan curries and raw salads, but also some simple westernized light dishes. All food is vegetarian and there are lots of vegan options available.
